today marks the fifth anniversary of my last entry.

looking back at my old entries, i find it somewhat depressing that i do 
not feel as if i have personally developed as much as i would have wished 
during these intervening five years.

on the other hand, i have been able to accomplish many things during these 
five years that i would have never imagined i was capable of five years ago.

alas, i have missed writing here.
