last month, in an attempt to find a shortcut to a local supermarket, i
ended up biking clear across the whole town.  oops.

earlier this month, i bought a friend a birthday gift.  unfortunately, she
already owned a copy of what i got her.  coincidentally, she almost bought
me the same thing on my last birthday.  oops.

yesterday, there was a lunar eclipse, and i missed it.  oops.

i recently noticed that the phone numbers in my cell phone are stored in
alphabetical order by name.  this discovery is of some note, because i've
had this phone for a little over two years now.  before this little
epiphany, i've always wondered why the numbers i inputted into the phone
were never stored in the order that i inputted them.

i'd like to say that the reason why i never really noticed this is because
i rarely ever use my cell phone, but it could be just because i am stupid.

i got really sick late last month for a few days.  at one point, i got so
weak that unscrewing the lid off of a jar of juice was a strenuous task
that made my muscles sore.  after suffering for a couple days, i decided
to go biking one night, and let the cold night air flow through my lungs
and sinuses, even though i'm pretty sure this type of action goes against
popular medical advice.  i woke up the next day feeling much better.  i
still had a slight cough to remind me that i was horridly sick only the
day before, but that was about it.
