Stocks (one of the fews things the Internet is actually useful for)

• Silicon Investor - one of the few places that isn't 100% touts these days...
• Lombard Brokerage - lots of info, cheap commissions
• MarketPlayer - an amusing hedgehog, lots of info, a cool stock game
• Barron's - Market surveillance for the Financial Elite (yeah that's me!)
• Briefing.com - pretty good until they started charging for it...
• Stocksmart.com - lots of useful info

Sports/News

• Los Angeles Times - because let's face it, the Chronicle/Mercury suck
• Espnnet - as if you don't already have this bookmarked
• Nando.net - best news source I've found on the web
• Palo Alto Weekly - for all of the important events that happen in PA

Random Things

• The Onion - this is the BEST non-stock website I ever found
• Amazon.com - I hear only crazy people work there though
• JavaSoft - so I can make ruling stock Applets
• Yahoo - a horribly overvalued stock, but it gets me where I want to go
