My first stop in USA was Stevens Institute of Technology at Hoboken, New Jersey. When I first got there in 1991, I had no friends or any relatives in the states. For the first time in my life, I was completely on my own. I felt the loneliness and pressure of life. However, I got to know some true Christian friends and began to get in touch with Christianity.
During my undergraduate years, I joined the Co-op program and alternated between semesters of work and study. It was a confusing yet rewarding period of my life. I joined Tau Beta Pi during my junior year and became the president of our chapter, NJ Alpha, from 1995 to 1996. I made a lot of friends, came to know many good professors, teachers and had so much fun and fights. I gained a lot of social and working experience through the co-op job. Among the five years I spent there, I worked for at least two years. Finally, I graduated with a BE in Computer Engineering.
I am now studying at Stanford. Compare the weather here with New Jersey, it surely feels like being in a heavenly place. I wish I had been here earlier.
But, most importantly, I have got to know Jesus
Christ here and found my dream, passion and true life from him. to
