Current Projects and Research Activities

I'm active in the following efforts:

• I am the coordinating Principle Investigator for the Colony Project.
• I am the point of contact for the PERUSE, a performance revealing interface for MPI.

I was involved in the following efforts:
• MPI-2, an API developed by the MPI Forum. Click here for details on MPI-2.
• I was a Parallel I/O Chair for the SP-XXL Organization.
• I was the tri-lab lead for an ASCI PathForward targeting Scalable Parallel I/O and File Systems (See Request for Proposal specifics here.)
• I initiated a scalable parallel file system effort through ASCI's PathForward Program.
