IEEE, Potentials Magazine, etc.

I will be the Editor in Chief (currently, “in training”) of the IEEE Potentials magazine, the publication that goes to all student members of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers.  I also server on the IEEE Regional Activities Board, and the Publications Board.

Univ of Missouri-Rolla, Computer Science Advisory Board

I’m been a member of the industrial advisory board at UMR since the inception of the board.  Also, an alum from there.  We advise on direction and provide industry support and advice.

Lucent, Bell Labs, and AT&T

Since 1985, I’ve worked for Bell Labs and followed the Lucent of the company.  See my resume for details of work there.  I’ve worked primarily in information technology both in centralized IT and in Bell Labs Advanced Technology. 

Chicago Public Schools Science Fair Judging

For most of the past dozen years (since 1991), I have judged for the Chicago Public Schools Science fair.  I encourage anyone with the time to judge at this science fair or others (they always need judges)
