I hail from the historic indian town of Pune, or Poona for the more anglo-inclined, or "punya-nagari". Pune comprises a cosmopolitan community and a wide range of economic and social populace. A city of 2.3 million, it is the seat of North Indian Classical music and always has been and will be one of the eminent centers of education in India. Born and brought up in Pune, I think it's the best place in the world, but of course, I might be biased.
