Interests

Hello! Thank you for stopping by. I was born in Mexico in the city of Ensenada, Lower California (Baja California). By the way, Ensenada is located about 85 miles south of San Diego, California. For those interested in knowing more about the Baja California peninsula, please visit the Baja California page I created from several links found on the web. You might also want to see some of Baja California satellite images. Click here to see an extremely detailed NASA Image that covers the whole peninsula on a non-cloudy day.

My current interests are: WEB Development related technologies, User Interfaces, Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Imaging Databases, Computer Vision, Cartography and Satellite Imaging. Some of my favorite links follow:

Geography

I have always liked Cartography. One site I particularly like is the Geography and Map Division (Lib. of Congress). When I was a boy, I wanted to be an architect and get involved in skyscraper design. That did not happen but my liking buildings is still there. Check these sites out for great skyline images:

Freeways

And being so close to California, I had to love all those civil engineering wonders called freeways! (except the nasty traffic of 101 in the Bay Area and in L.A.). Here are some links related to freeways and roads:

California

There is no place like California. So rich, so immense, so beautiful, so diverse, so unique. I can't describe with words what California means to me!

Other

Other interests are: Cycling, running, traveling and meeting smart people.
