OBJECTIVE

Actively participated in activities for an Internet consulting start-up in Detroit, Michigan, including office-space planning.  Currently consulting as a Project Manager responsible for managing the rollout of an enterprise Document Management solution at a major Detroit power company.  Turned around a struggling team and several dissatisfied internal customers into a successful implementation, with 10 satisfied customers, signing on 4 additional.  Managed customer relationships.  Built team morale.  Planned, managed and implemented new architecture, processes and tools to support rapid implementation for new customers.

Individually requested by GM Metal Fabricating Division to manage a highly visible, rapid software development project in France.   Specification, Design and Implementation completed in 7 months.  Savings: $4.5 Million

·        Managed and participated in a 4 person design and development team.

·        Assessed and specified necessary resources.

·        Setup multi-platform lab in 2 weeks with common architecture across 3 platforms. 

·        Defined project timelines, deliverables, and task assignments.

·        Provided technical support and SQA Configuration Management skills.

·        Supplied MFD, Troy with support through remote electronic communications.

A large scale engineering system that integrated CAD, Proprietary Analysis Codes, Expert Knowledge and Web-Based Technologies.

·        Provided technical leadership for development of a 4 million dollar, 3-year project. 

·        Managed system builds and code configuration for an 8 person development team. 

·        Established a working relationship with end users through on-site support.

·        Set up a Web bug reporting and tracking system to efficiently handle user concerns.

Project Engineer, Die Face Integration Project.
Responsible for assessment and definition of this 3-year project.

·        Defined project direction for an integrated manufacturing engineering tool.

·        Performed and documented assessment of the Die Face Engineering process. 

·        Designed and created WebTool to dynamically provide hypertext advice. 

·        Developed prototype system integrating CAD, CAE and expert knowledge.
