    Improved the accessibility of SQL Server Storage Engine's OLE DB interfaces to clients:
    • Redesigned ISQL, a DBA tool, to use COM interfaces for seamless interaction with OLE DB providers
    • Built and optimized a COM server to enhance transfer rates between the SQL server and a client
    • Tested query processing code for OLE DB providers in the Relational Engine of MS SQL Server 7.0.

Technical Programmer - Independent Consultant May 1996 - December 1996
    Developed a pension systems re-engineering application using in-process OLE servers:
    • Evaluated business requirements and implemented them in business objects, using Visual C++ and the existing foundation layer to interface with an object-oriented database represented on a Microsoft SQL Server 6
    • Revamped the CASE tool code-generating scripts and raised the level of code generation for the project from approximately 50% to more than 90% of all VC++ and DDL code
