Carlsbad, California

Carlsbad is a medium-sized tourist trap in the Northwest corner of San Diego County. This is a picture taken from directly over Interstate 5 facing North by Northwest. The brown-roofed buildings in the foreground of the picture belong to the Pea Soup Andersen's restaurant and inn. In the background are the "Flower Fields" which attract thousands of sight-seers each Spring.
