I grew up in Hong Kong, spending my teenage at St. Paul's Co-educational College. In January 1990, I came to the U.S. to study at University of California at Berkeley. Majoring in Mechanical Engineering initially, I later changed my mind and got my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science instead. After finishing college in December 1992, I started working at Oracle Corporation. I was a Senior Member of Technical Staff, working on MAPI support for Oracle InterOffice before I left the company for Pyramid Technology Corporation in December 1995. While I was working at Oracle, I also managed to obtain my Master Degree in Computer Science at Stanford University by studying part time from June 1993 to August 1995. After a short pursuit at Pyramid, I joined Hewlett-Packard Company in April 1996. I am currently working on a joint project under HP's Enterprise Messaging Organization and HP Laboratories on a pioneer Workflow system, code-named Montana.
I am a die-hard fan of Formula One Racing
since childhood. My favorite team is
Ferrari
and my favorite driver is
Ayrton Senna, who unfortunately left us at the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola
in May 1994.
In January 1996, I founded AraliSoft. In August 1996, Arali Corporation was incorporated in California, USA. My goal is to
bring the company up to prosperity in the Silicon Valley.
