Food Tips::

1. Always order the smallest size soda in restaurants that offer free refills. I have seen many foolish people order the large soda and never get the refill. However, if the restaurant does not offer free refills, the largest size soda is the best deal. See if you can split the largest soda among friends! Wow. That will save you money.

2. At Taco Bell, the 10-pack of tacos cost the same as ordering 10 individual tacos. You don't even save a penny. Don't get caught in this evil trap.

3. It takes over two years to use a 6-pack of Diet Mountain Dew. Never buy a case of it, even if it is on sale!

4. Through years of experience, I have found that an open jar of spaghetti sauce that you left out overnight is usually still edible.

Clothes Tips::

1. I found it unnecessary to own more than one towel. I mean I use it to dry my very recently cleaned body. Why even wash the towel?

2. If you have socks with holes in the heals, don't throw them out! Just wear them upside down so that the heal faces upward. The top of your foot certainly doesn't need any padding.

Household Tips::

1. Instead of washing a pan every time you use it, put it aside and use it the next time you need to boil water for spaghetti.

2. When your socks are worn out on both sides (see Clothes Tips #2), they make great thirsty kitchen towels! They also be used as cloth napkins (depending on the sock).

3. There really is no need to wash your sheets. Do sheets even get dirty? And even if you did sleep on dirty sheets, you're going to take a shower anyway in the morning.

Money Saving Tips::

1. Whenever you're staying at a hotel, take home all that soap and shampoo they give you. You can sometimes ask for more too! Then when you have guests over, you can set out the soap and shampoo for them to use.

2. Use your old shoes for cat or dog food dishes.
