Minutes for Game #24
Hello Men,
I actually have some news for us!!
Next Game will be Thursday, Feb 13th. The exciting thing is
John, the all-time spread-king, will be hosting and we are
all looking forward it !!! Will we see John de-throne Stu
as the 1997 Spread King? Stay tuned.
An additional game will be played on on Saturday, Feb 22nd.
Dennis will be coming through. Perhaps we will get a photo-session during
the game-- so make sure that you come!!! It might be the
last time that we can get everyone together.
So keep those dates open.

* SPREAD: pizza, 2 cases of soda
* stu learns the value of a nickel!!! He bluffs successfully
* george sets a new record for buying a 2 in auction. He bought
it for $5.00 to give him five 4's. He won.
* Ray decided to beat that record in a game of stu-ball (black monday?).
Ray buys a 2 for $6.25 but loses to john who held five A's.
* in a game of lousy-duecy, charlie got five 3's and the pot
grew to $5.00!! Mike successfully wins the pot with five J's.
It good to see typical poker hands win the games.
* we played a few new games including Kankakee and Have a Heart.
