We'll be having the 2nd game of the new season this week. It's also
a time to say goodbye to john who will be leaving us for a few weeks.

* bring at least one 12-pack of soda; 2 bottles of beer
* try to spend no more than $12.00 for snacks of your choice (you can
even buy frozen pizzas). Stu can spend more.
* everyone is welcome to try to take the spread king away from john

* stu puts on a great spread and becomes the season's spread king:
veggies and dip, shrimp, pizza rolls, chips & salsa, buffalo wings,
grapes, croisants, soda and beer
* ken wins the first hand
* ken wins!!!
* geroge's woman hunts him down and calls at stu's place
* mike has a hard time counting to 7, misdeals twice in row
* ken brings his own cards to play with
* in a long game of jacks or better, trips to win, stu gets 3 nines but
george draws 3 cards to get a flush
* george spills a beer
* in a pass the trash game, a showdown occurs between mike and stu for
low hand; however, someone take's mike's six away to almost give stu
the victory. we found the six.
* george moves ahead of uncle ed and takes command of 3rd place
* stu continues to play well
