Minutes for Game #9
Hello Men,
Game #10 is on the horizon. You'd think there wouldn't be much to say,
but we have lots of news for this week:
1. George will be sponsoring the game. That's right a new idea.
Due to the liking of the new poker table, we will (unless someone objects)
play at Mike's house. However, each of us will take turns in bringing the
food and beverage. George came up with this idea. So now's your chance
to take Stu's Spread Title away from him. To make it easy on the
sponsor, I posted preferences for everyone below.
2. You need to email me each week to let me know if you're playing. I
can tell the sponsor who will be there so you`re not stuck drinking
Diet Cherry 7-up.
3. Due to last week's fiasco of too many non-poker games during the
evening, we can now ONLY call these games on every 3rd round and on
the last round of the evening. These games include Between-the-sheets,
Indian, Guts, 7/27, Stacks, and our favorite: indian-partners-in-crime-
between-the-sheets.
4. A new banking system will be in place this week. Everyone bring
$9.00 dollars! You give the $9.00 to the banker to use your chips.
At the end of the night, you sell your chips back to the banker.
The banker gives you your cash, sorts the chips, and gives your chips
back to you to take home. This will make it easy for determining
winnings or losings.

* dennis, mike, ken, todd, stu, john, jaejin, sponsor: mike
* we lost george for the first time.
* jaejin was back and spreading his quarters like bad perfume on a windy day
* the highlight of the evening was the ceremonial chip tossing
* the chips caused a great urge to bet wildly; we were rookies acting
like kids with a new toy. It was disgraceful. EVERY game during the
first round had an average pot of over $5.00.
* todd wins the first game with the new poker chips
* dennis was back and called some crazy community-draw game that
had dynamic rules and ended up unplayable. However, mike did win
it, since everyone dropped.
* the evening was tarnished by TOO many non poker games, we will now
have rules about calling these games
* the chips demanded a new banking system to make end of night sorting
easier
