Fun stuff

My former life was as a competitive gymnast, for 12 years. Competed for Eastern, the Thundercolts, NYS, Region 7, Section XI, Long Island, and the Tribe. Three years ago, I made the stupid claim that every year on my birthday I would be able to hold a handstand for the number of seconds that my birthday is in years, and while it's okay now, when I'm 90 that handstand has to last a minute and a half. Talk about a blood rush.

(June 11) I'm done with school! ... For at least a year.
(Dec 7) Everyone should learn a little number theory. Here is a basic introduction to congruency and modular math that I wrote for the class I'm currently TAing, CS103A: Discrete Math for Computer Science. (#1 search result on Google for "congruency modular math")
(Dec 6) I was bored, so I typed "rigid body simulation site:www.stanford.edu" into Classificoogle, and my site was the top result, and correctly classified into Artificial Intelligence.
(Dec 6) So I didn't actually think anyone looked at my webpage, but I checked the log dumps and found that almost 300 people looked at my rigid body project in October alone. Confused about how so many people were finding my page, I typed "rigid body simulations" into Google, and sure enough, my page was the top search result on the second page - right above Pixar's rigid body page. =)
