HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
At the core of the health care program is a full feature nutrition program with modules for meal input, user defined menus, recipes and supplements. In all of these modules there are 37 nutrients that are updated on a per item basis as food is entered. Another major module tracks potential allergens in the diet and a health factor that the user believes may be influenced by food sensitivities. The module uses this information from the user data base to uncover potential food allergens in the user's diet. This module can uncover food intolerance that cause subtle changes in the user's health. After the allergy analysis the user has the option of printing out a report, graphs or tabulated data. There is another module that helps the user balance food in their diet to obtain the highest quality protein possible. In all of the modules the HELP menu returns context sensitive help to guide the user thru the different modules. The algorithms used in this program are based on artificial intellegence algorithms. The user interface is Microsoft Windows 3.1.
15 PUZZLE
The 15 puzzle is based on the board game that moves 15 tiles around in a square with 16 spaces. The object is to position the tiles such that the tiles in each row are numerically increasing from left to right and the tiles in any row are numerically smaller than tiles in lower rows. The 15 puzzle has been a classic game for artificial intellegence algorithms. This implementation is based on best-first search and has a graphical Microsoft Windows 3.1 user interface.
REVERSI
Reversi is a fairly popular two player board game. This implementation of reversi is based on minimax with alpha - beta cutoffs using an ordered list. The evaluation function uses a board weighting scheme that is varied to produce three levels of play. A fourth level of play was implemented by increasing the search depth. The user interface is again a graphical Microsoft Windows 3.1 implementation.

By filling in the guest registration form, guests can receive a free 3 1/4" diskette for Windows 3.1 containing these programs that will be sent by mail. The health care program has a subset of the complete food data base so the program may be run from the disk without loading the program onto the hard drive.
