Ann Nguyen

Who am I?

I am first year emergency medicine resident at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, having done an internship year at St-Luke/Roosevelt, in New York, after having finished medical school at McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. I graduated from Stanford University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Biological Sciences and Art History. I have started repayment on a sizeable debt.

Where am I?

As Dr. Seuss said, "Wherever you go, there you are!" I presently live near downtown Chicago. Where I would LIKE to be is a much more interesting subject....

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam. I moved to Canada in 1973 and have lived in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Prince Rupert (British Columbia). Prince Rupert is my "hometown"; I used to go there once a year to load up on Mom's home cooking!
