On the cloudy morning of June 30th 1998 Daphne Koller and her entourage of students set off for the Russian River in Northern California. By the time that our destination had been reached the clouds had parted. The clear blue skies and tall redwood trees provided the perfect setting for what was to be a great day out for all.
